Ashley Boggs loves saving dogs. One day in Puerto Rico, a brown dog stopped her car on a forest road.
This dog acted like she needed to show Boggs something important.

Dog Mom Needs Help
Ashley saw that the dog, named Goji, was a mom with puppies. The puppies were hidden in the woods with no food or water. Goji was trying to take care of them alone.

Ashley, who is part of Miracles for Satos Rescue in New York, wanted to help. She found Goji’s two puppies and put them in her car. But she heard more puppies crying. She found four more puppies near a box.

Rescuing the Dog Family
Ashley took all the dogs to a safe place. They were hungry and needed care. The rescue team helped them feel better.

The rescue group moves dogs from Puerto Rico to New York to find homes. Goji and her puppies were lucky Ashley found them. They stayed with a foster family to learn and play with other dogs.

Goji is a loving dog. “She is the best dog. She loves everyone and likes to cuddle,” said the rescue team on Facebook.
The puppies were named after berries: Raspberry, Blueberry, Gooseberry, Cloudberry, Blackberry, and Strawberry.
The team said, “We named them after berries because we found them in the bushes.”

Happy Ending Goji and her puppies are safe now. “Goji loves to be with people and makes everyone happy,” the rescue team shared. Soon, all the dogs found new homes where they were loved.
These dogs, once left alone in the wild, now have happy lives with families.
