Abigaíl Castro, who spoke to the Bunko outlet, revealed how Manchas stumbled upon her residence. She was struck by his deteriorated state and the evident sorrow in his eyes.
Determined to help, she sought immediate medical attention for him.
The vet’s diagnosis was grim: skin cancer, infected wounds, and severe malnutrition. Initially, Abigaíl tried locating his previous owners via social media, unaware of his tragic past.
An informant revealed the horrifying truth — the pup belonged to her neighbors and was used in animal fights.

From that revelation, Abigaíl decided to adopt Manchas, ensuring he experienced love and care. She bought him a bed, and his heartfelt response — tears of gratitude — was deeply moving.
“The day we got him the bed, he began to cry. I captured the moment he cried beside his new bed,” Castro shared.
