Ruby, a Doberman Pinscher from Geneseo, New York, owned by Brittany Callan, displayed this boundless love.
A week post giving birth to six puppies, Ruby embraced an orphaned kitten, treating her as one of her own.

Brittany found the kitten, named Ramblin’ Rose, abandoned in the grass.
Recognizing the kitten’s vulnerability and Ruby’s recent motherhood, she introduced them, hoping Ruby would care for the tiny feline.
And she did. Ruby instantly began nurturing Rose as if she were her own offspring.

Brittany shared with Daily Paws, “[Ruby] immediately bonded with her, showing no reservations.”
She added, “Having grown up around smaller animals, Ruby learned to be gentle and affectionate… She’s an incredibly empathetic dog.”
