But every cloud has a silver lining. Nellie’s path led her to the nurturing embrace of Secondhand Hounds, a foster-based rescue in Minnetonka, MN, dedicated to ensuring every canine is cherished and placed with a loving foster family.

Nellie’s circumstances qualified her as a Fighter Fund Foster, indicating she needed added care, longer foster stints, and more medical attention.
