In a touching turn of events, a bus driver stumbled upon two abandoned puppies in a box near a city bus stop.
He quickly informed the nearby animal shelter, whose team hurried over, uncertain about the duration of the pups’ abandonment.
On closer inspection, they found two young female dogs, somewhat bedraggled and frail but notably affectionate.

Unfortunately, abandoning female puppies isn’t rare, primarily due to sterilization costs. Nevertheless, the shelter team was committed to rehabilitating them and started by feeding them.
When a basic cleaning proved insufficient, they opted for a professional makeover.

The pups, now christened Leya and Mia, underwent a comprehensive spa treatment, including creams, scrubs, and masks.
Their makeover was nothing short of miraculous, revealing two sparkling clean puppies. After a subsequent vet visit, they were found to be around three months old.
They received microchips and were treated for various parasites. However, they also tested positive for demodicosis, necessitating more intensive care.
