At the break of dawn, the MHS team, under the leadership of Chief Officer Chris Dewerker, was already patrolling the streets.
An urgent call about a puppy trapped in a pipe set them into immediate action. Upon arrival, the distressed face of the puppy’s mother was the first thing they encountered.
The homeowner pointed out two small openings from which the puppy’s cries emanated.
