In a heart-stopping moment captured on camera, an 8-month-old Yorkie named Coco found herself in the clutches of a bald eagle.
As Coco played on the porch, her family was inside their living room, unaware of the unfolding drama.
It was only when they heard their daughter’s alarmed scream that they realized something was amiss.
Upon checking their doorbell camera footage, the family was shocked to see the bald eagle swooping down and grabbing Coco right from their back porch.
The chilling yelps of the pup echoed as she struggled, but fortunately, she managed to escape the eagle’s grasp and flee to safety.

Coco sustained a laceration on her belly and several other minor injuries. After receiving three days of veterinary care, she made a full recovery.
